For over 65 years Blau Weiss Gottschee, has been at the uppermost levels of youth soccer in America. Every year our soccer club produces players teams in the nation that are amongst the most competitive and successful in the nation. Our mission is to develop high quality players by focusing on the mastery of technical skills and by encouraging individual creativity. The results of our work are evidenced by the individual successes of recent BW Gottschee players.

  • Three players currently play professionally in the MLS
  • Carlo Rittacio and Tim Weah won Nike friendlies with the US U17 National Team
  • Bryan Celis called into the Chile U17 National Camp
  • Matteo Rittacio invited back, multiple times, to train at Liverpool FC
  • Jack McGlynn called into the US U14 National Camp
  • Two players selected among the USSDA Eastern Conference starting eleven


BW Gottschee teams are scouted regularly and players are recruited to attend schools such as: Princeton, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, Bucknell, Sienna, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, and more.


We believe that strong individual development leads to strong team development and recent BW Gottschee team results are impressive.

  • The U18 Academy team finished 2016 ranked #1 nationally with a 24-1-1 record
  • Both U18 and U16 Academy teams reached the playoffs
  • The U14 Academy team was the featured live match at the USSDA Showcase and posted a 3-0 record
